Teaching Methodology

Institutions of higher learning across the nation are responding to political, economic, social and technological pressures to be more responsive to students’ need and more concerned about how well students are prepared to assume future societal roles.

We, at SMPS are trying to make learning environments more interactive and to integrate technology into the learning experience. Our teaching methodology is innovative, progressive, child-centered and activity based. We follow lecture method, discussions, active learning (students talk, listen, read, write and reflect), cooperative learning (learning in small groups for achieving common goals; following CCE pattern), integrating technology (learning through computers and audio visual aids; English language lab), indirect learning through various inter – house competitions or inter/ intra class activities.
